Robotic Deburring & Automatic Inspection
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
A robotic cell for automated deburring and inspection, combining robot handling, process tooling, vision checks, and PLC/HMI control.
PROJECT SCOPE
• Robot handling and repeatable tool paths
• Deburring process and tool control
• Automatic inspection and result evaluation
• Good/reject chute interlocks
• PLC/HMI sequence, recovery, and status logic
• Commissioning and production-support testing
DELIVERABLE
An integrated deburring and inspection sequence that connects part handling, process control, inspection results, and reject handling.
THE CHALLENGE
Deburring and quality verification often require repeatable motion, consistent tool control, and reliable handling of good and reject parts. The cell needed to connect these steps without losing production visibility.
OUR APPROACH
MCS integrated robot handling and deburring with vision inspection, PLC/HMI sequencing, reject handling, production tracking, and commissioning support.
AUTOMATION SCOPE
• Robot programming, tooling, and material handling
• Automated deburring operation
• Camera or vision-based quality checks
• PLC/HMI sequence and safety integration
• Good/reject handling and fault recovery
• Result tracking and production handover
RESULT
A connected cell workflow that combines repeatable deburring with automatic inspection and recorded results. Final process performance and acceptance criteria are validated with the customer during commissioning.
